Patients can book for an OPD ticket for an appointment with the doctors in Shillong Civil Hospital or the North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences. The ticket is generated there an then on successful application. Patient will make payment at the ORS counter of the concerned hospital before consultation with the doctor.
The Online Registration System (ors.gov.in) of eHospital Platform facilitates hospitals to provide various online services to the patients such as online OPD appointment, viewing of lab reports, status of availability of blood in bloodbanks etc. by registered Mobile Number or Unique Hospital Identification Number (UHID); identity of the patients is confirmed digitally using Aadhaar authentication service provided by UIDAI (Unique Identification Development Authority of India) to ensure that only genuine patients are given online OPD appointments.

The Students of Meghalaya can apply for this Certificate. The Student will apply online and submit the following scanned documents 1. Birth Proof (Admit Card/ Birth Certificate), 2. Residential Proof (Voting Card/Ration Card /Electricity Bill/Any other Residential Proof/Patta/Telephone Bill ), 3. Education Proof (Highest Educational qualification), 4. in Case of a scheduled Tribe students - Scheduled Tribe Certificate 5. In case parent of applicant is in government service - then parents Government Service Proof 6. Supporting Documents indicating why the certificate is required and 7. Voters' Card of Self/Parent/Guardian. No Payment is required to avail this Permanent Residence Certificate. The System Generated, Digitally Signed Permanent Residence Certificate can be downloaded by the applicant, after receiving intimation in the form of an SMS.
Learner Licence can be printed by the applicant by entering application no and Date of birth or the Learner Licence number
