E-Gram Vishwagram (eGVG), Gujarat State Government project is formulated to establish the e-governance business model in Gram Panchayats (village administrative unit). It aims to bridge the digital gap between urban and rural Gujarat with the help of ICT (Information and Computer Technology). It ensures citizen rights to information and promotes village panchayat as the delivery point of e-services for various government departments.
