The Govt of India notified the Indian Stamp (Collection of Stamp duty through Stock Exchanges etc.) Rules, 2019 on the 10th Deccember 2019. An amendment to the rule was made on the 30th March 2020 which mandates the creation of an online system for filing the returns.
