The Department of Agriculture, Puducherry extends back ended subsidy for paddy cultivation to encourage the paddy farmers as well as to support their cost of cultivation. To avail the subsidy, the farmers / farm women in posession of Smart Farmer Identity Card has to submit an application at the Farm Help Centres of the Department of Agriculture, Puducherry; online submission would be facilitated; field inspected and then subsidy allowed after harvest subject to satisfaction of guidelines in force.
