Unique Disability ID - UDID Card
UDID sub scheme is being implemented with a view of creating a National Database for Persons with Disabilities across the country. Under the UDID project, certificates of disability and Unique Disability Identity cards are issued to Persons with Disabilities through competent medical authorities notified by respective State Governments/Union Territories. The project aims to encourage transparency, efficiency in the system of delivering the government benefits to the person with disabilities.
Gujarat-Financial assistance to destitute older persons (Scheme of State Government)
The State Government has introduced a scheme to provide financial aid to destitute older individuals who meet certain criteria. To qualify, applicants must have been permanent residents of Gujarat for at least 10 years. Through this initiative, the State Government aims to extend financial support to destitute older individuals who fulfill these requirements and are in need of assistance.

Gujarat-Free Tablet to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes students of standard 12 science stream
This scheme has been implemented with an aim to promote the use of modern technological tools such as Laptop, Computer, Ipad, Tablet etc to explore the internet for educational purposes. Socially and Educationally Backward Class students of standard 12 with 70% or more marks are given free Tablet worth Rs. 9,000/-. This scheme has been implemented in the year 2015-16.
Gujarat-Financial assistance to More Backward and Most Backward Classes and Nomadic and Denotified Tribes students of standard 12 science stream for private tuition(SEBC)
Under this scheme, students of More Backward and Most Backward classes among Socially and Educationally Backward Classes and Nomadic and Denotified Tribes of standard 11 and 12 science stream are given financial assistance for private tuition on the basis of marks obtained (70% or more) in the 10th standard.
